Guidelines for electrode placement and unit care

Do not open the monitor at any time.
Change electrode patches once per day.
The same electrode patch (sticker) is used for all 3 locations. Move the location at each change within the placement range below.
MONITOR IS NOT WATER PROOF. Remove all Electrode patches before showering or swimming.
Before putting on electrodes, make sure skin is clean & dry. Do not use any lotion or powder; this is in order to prevent poor electrode contact.
Do not press or touch the centre portion of the electrode patches where the gel is located. Ensure adhesion of the electrode patches by pressing the edges firmly

This test is for diagnostic purposes only. In case of an emergency, contact 911 or go to the nearest hospital.
The cardiac technologists do not monitor patients’ data in real time.
